Known to be a tell-all storyteller, ANLIL breaks up the truth with her newest release, Young Heart.

ANLIL is infamous for writing hauntingly cinematic stories, carrying a uniquely dark driven sound while sharing a not so familiar love story. ANLIL shared an alternative side to her traditional sad-pop driven narrative. “I feel like there’s so many anthems about what someone goes through after a break up and having their heart broken, I wanted this song to tell the honest truth from the other side of a toxic relationship. I wanted to talk about the heartbreaker, their motives and moments leading up to saying I’m officially done with this, next.”

ANLIL took on collaboration with her team in Toronto, cutting the vocals with producer Sunny Diamonds known for his work with Roy Woods, Tory Lanez and many more. Among the team, best known as Error404, the producer behind Young Heart’s dark-trap beat added his special sonics to the feel.

“I feel so blessed that I’m able to work with talented people. It’s really incredible to say I produce and write almost every song I’ve released, but there’s magic when creating with different minds and perspectives in music.”

As the sound of the dark bass-filled synth loops through, an anti-hero’s anthem was born as the words share a story of the broken becoming the breaker. ANLIL has taken a hold of unapologetically laying down all the raw and heartfelt experiences she’s encountered so far. Although she’s remained continuously expressing darker, more sadder tones, her voice sparks a unique sound, never heard before.
